Skateboarding became Olympic in 2021. What started as rebellion is now a world sport.

Tony Hawk landed the first 900 at the X Games in 1999 — two and a half rotations in the air. He had worked on it for over ten years; the next skaters managed it only in 2004.

The good skate spots aren't listed anywhere. Whoever has skated here longer knows them.

Learn to bail first, then the tricks. Fall deliberately — roll over your shoulder, don't catch yourself with your hand. Skaters' bones usually break at the outstretched hand.
